I am looking to buy a domain and am wondering what do you think is the best one to go through. I have heard mixed reviews about yahoo and godaddy but other than that i know very little

I've been using Bravenet.com for all my domain needs since 2005. So far I have no reasons to complain. They provide a good service (and no, I'm not getting paid to post this... unfortunately ;)).

I've used godaddy for a few years now.

They do try to push a lot of service on you during purchases but as far as management of the actual domain goes (after purchase) I can't complain.

Another bonus you can usually find 10~15% off coupons on the net (google godaddy coupon) that will benefit you during purchases and renewals.

    Godaddy hands down.

And yes, there are free domains, but they're like...

    tushardhoot1.tk
    tushardhoot1.c-o.in
    tushardhoot1.co.nr
    tushardhoot1.c-o.cc
    tushardhoot1.coz.in

I got a reseller shop going and dont have the program (DW) to get my website up so...

I went to (search) (MS Live) and used the free website builder. I can choose any name available .com .net ect. not sure about .co.uk though.
The one i got was Domainregistrationshop.com

namecheap & mydomain.com & moniker are good, Godaddy are way over rated, who wants all the crap they throw at you everytime you go to order plus the site is soooo slow when managing domains..
