Hi DP members, I was wondering if someone could assist, I am attempting to determine a deccent 'domain name reseller service' and have selected a possible three providers, they are: WildWestDomains (GoDaddy) - using 'super seller and api' reseller account Enom - PREMIER Gold Membership reseller account Directi | ResellerClub - Higer end Slab offering. Part of criteria for selection has been the cost of domain registration ($6.95 is the average, I seek to pay), other components have included reputation, reliability and API access. I believe that the three I have selected are the 'standout reseller registrars' at present, although I may be wrong and I am hoping that you may be abe to help me to determine that further. Regards BN
I like Enom as its stable but some people dont like it becase its not got as many features as the other sites.
I have used the Wild West for about a year and even after that year, I couldn't manage to get enough clients to pay my entry fee (it was little over $100 then). You see, Godaddy (wild west and Godaddy are the same) competes with their resellers by offering just as good a deal as you. I like Enom because they do not compete with their resellers. I've never used Directi because I worry about them being from India. What legal recourse do I have if an Idian company suddenly decides to go bankrupt and goes down with all my clients it's taken me years to build up? What happens to their domains and mine? Too much uncertainty for me. I've never treid fabulous, it may be good.
I've been using DirectI for a couple of years now and have not had any issues. I have it integrated with a couple of hosting front ends (whois.cart, clientexec) using the API and it all works smoothly...
Directi (Reseller Club) are the only ones to have picked up the phone and spoken to me personally (nice touch) after having left details via "contact us" of the respected Domain Registrars offering reseller services. Any one dealing with TuCows.com reseller services? If so... What are they like? Thanks in advance.
I personally prefer GoDaddy or Wild West Domains reseller plans - Small budget and no deposit required, 24X7 customer support (email and phone) for me and my customers. The initial free ads credit help me to build up my brand at the beginning. Free Extra bonuses for search engine and directory submission, email marketing have simplified things a lot. I have been doing the reselling business for about 8 months and so far so good that I can fund for the second year. And I hope if you do for the second year, it will continue to grow with time. I work on the part time basis - and tried to follow the instructions on the reseller guide to the extent I am capable of. Here is my super reselling site humdomains.com/reseller A small advice to the completely new resellers - please take time to create your brand. It is not overnight money making business. Best wishes, HumDomains
I feel like this question is asked over and over again. I think the best domain name reseller depends on your needs. I personally would say to stay away from godaddy/wildwestdomains However Enom and Resellerclub/directI are very good choices. I been a reseller of both. Enom is great as it is widely used so a lot of hosting programs have enom integration. Reseller club is great but only if your going to invest like $1500 up front to get better pricing. Currently I am using Best Domain Name Reseller because although I know they are a resellerclub reseller themselves they give you everything you get with resellerclub but at lower cost and lower initial deposit.
Reseller Club Scam I Think hostinghow.com/review/resellerclub/resellerclub/ ENom Is Best I can Provide Enom 7.95 Reseller Free PM Me Thanks Sufia
I'd go with GD. They are slightly more expensive, but the features work great. I've recently also used name.com and register.com - and found both sucked when it comes to making domains private.
