What is the best compiler?

    Hello there ? there are compilers have been trying to use to run my c++ code but the don't seem to work very well,this compilers are Microsoft C# and borland c++ in fact when i try to install ms C# on my machine the installation suddenly stops could somebody pls advice me on the best compiler to use?

    I had been using Borland C++ on Windows XP though the screen size was small.
