Alot of people use wordpress because it's probably the easiest one to use. Also has the most free templates so that's probably the way to go. If you want more functionality then perhaps joomla or drupal might be right for you but wordpress would be the easiest. Good luck

Wordpress is the best i ever saw. Joomla is very critical to use but it can handle a lot of data. For blogging and community wordpress should be the first choice.

It also depends on how much time you want to spend learning a cms ... wordpress isn't necessarily the best, but it will certainly be the quickest way to do it.

you can try with wordpress and see if it meets your requirement and future demands. if not you can go for customized wp with developers

I would also suggest wordpress, it's very easy to get ranked and you can pick from 100's of plugins.

you should have programmed by yourself or by others in the templates to look as unique. I suggest to use paid templates.

I'm an avid promoter of wordpress. Excellent script, I've worked with it a lot in the past 2 years (I am a professional wordpress theme designer) and it doesn't cease to amaze me. I've recommended it to all my clients, even if they don't run blogs and everyone has been super pleased with it.

yes that's right. we can use wordpress if we just need a simple site and don't have more time to learn about cms
joomla is the great cms if you need to get pro site and complete
but drupal more strong to your security other all cms

I would go with Joomla and virtuemart plug in for the shopping cart. You may also try to integrate Wordpress with OScommerce.

I would personally and blindly suggest you to try wordpress. The other options are:

    1. Wordpress
    2. Joomla
    3. Drupal
    4. mambo

and many more, its all about your choices.
If you are not a coder or techie - go for wordpress. a lil bit of techie, you might love joomla. in case you really want to take advantage of drupal to the best, you need to been a good coder. Drupal is great too..

    cheers
    Josh
