I have a site that is increasing in popularity and traffic after being referenced in a magazine but the CMS I am using is awkward to administrate and difficult to customize templates. I have played with a few Open source and Commercial CMS scripts but never been completely pleased with them. What CMS would you recommend for a Non programmer (or poorly skilled programmer)? Needed requirements: * Stable & Secure * Can handle High traffic * easily Administrated * Provides PSD files to make site templates (Wishful but not required) * Has been around awhile and will be supported for years to come
Without a doubt the best CMS out there at the moment is Wordpress. It's free, highly customisable, and if you can't edit it yourself there's thousands of cheap designers and programmers out there who can edit the templates and design for you really cheaply! Chris
Wordpress is my first choice for small or medium sized sites. I like Joomla as well as would probably use it for a larger site.
Wordpress IMO with the "All in One SEO Pack" it proves great results in the long run. I use it for anything I do.
With so many plugin custumization and big community ready to help my vote will go for wordpress all the way.
