    I have a question to you, what is the Best CMS (Content Management System) Currently?

    Especially for a free CMS.

    If you are using it for a blog, I would use Wordpress. But I use Joomla and Virtuemart for my online store and this also works well.

    the best CMS really depends on what the application is.

    the best general purpose? WordPress
    For a newspaper or news site? NewsBahn
    for complex ecommerce integration? I'd say joomla/drupal

    Actually I doubt your suggestion, WP is good but there are several other well-established systems you can use

    But my personal favs are: Wordpress, Joomla and Drupal :D

    I have only used wordpress and very happy with it. Easy to use, lots of plugin to choose... I love it!:)

    Wordpress is a good one, especially if there are plugins to do the jobs you want.

    If it's completely custom then I prefer MODx in its Evolution form, it's fast - stacks faster than Wordpress. And with some programming you can make it do anything and look like anything.
