What is the best bum marketing strategy?

    1- Is using EzineArticles only?

2- Submitting the same article to EzineArticles and other authority article directories like Buzzle and ArticleDashboard?

3- Submit different and unique article to every article directory?

    4- Using social bookmarking?

What is your own successful technique?

Pretty much a combination of everything you've mentioned really, as bum marketing isn't just "article marketing" or "social bookmarking", etc. Bum marketing is utilzing free methods as a whole.

If you're looking for more of my exact methods, you can find them in my free guide in my sig :D

bum marketing is a great free tactic and its fundamentals are used to some degree by pretty much all internet marketers. its all about building links and how to do so without money.

My successful strategy includes submitting to Ezinearticles and sending my links to a landing page on a Wordpress site (hosted not free).

What you are talking about is only Article Marketing.

Bum Marketing is much broader, such as using other Web 2.0 sites, like Squidoo, Hubpages and others, plus using blogs, also social bookmarking and commenting.

I have a monthly plan, every week i pick one product, write (sometimes i buy)
10 articles about that product, submit it in my blog, after google index my pages, i submit the articles to all 4 best article directories, then social bookmarking the pages, the i create hubpages+squidoo little page, i brake the articles into small posts, and use as small articles, and small posts.

I used to get 17 sales a day from that method, but now when clickbank has problems, i get only 9:(

    Cheers.

I think social bookmarking your ezinearticles is a bit spammy, what are your thoughts?

Well, unnatural social bookmarking, like submitting to 40 SB sites is already kinda spamming, without the matter of what you are submitting.....

Plus some SB sites don't accept EzineArticles.

I was under the assumption that submitting one article (non-modified) to more then one article directory could be setting yourself up to get de-indexed or lower your chances of getting to the first page for your targeted keyword because of it being "duplicate content."

Maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong...

Depends on how you look at it.. and what you consider spam.
Rewriting the same article 10 times and re-submitting it to Ezinearticles with the goal to generate affiliate sales IMO can also be considered spam.

Anything that is easy, isn't going to last long term.

Essentially all articles are rewritten articles. Take bodybuilding. There's only so much you can talk about and you can bet, 100's of people have already written it.

    No way, man.

If you rewrite ANYTHING, it becomes unique and that's not spamming in any way.

As Chris said, everything is rewritten online. You see the same stuff everywhere in different words. Do you call that spam? Hell no.

Well, It's okay, I'm not saying that it shouldn't be done. Since the method of rewriting the same article several times and resubmitting is proven sucessful for generating sales, then do it. I'm not saying not to do it.

But It can be qualified as spam also. Because you're not contributing by trying to present any new information, you're just presenting the old information your posted, over and over, for a commercial purpose.

I usually use a mixture of Squidoo pages, social bookmarking, and article writing to drive sales. Feel free to check out my blog post assuming my feed fixes itself :D
