what is the best brand. HP Dell or any other like Aser?

Not a big Dell fan. They seem kind of flimsy and I know too many people that have ahd problems with them for some reason.

It depends on what size you are looking for. I just purchased an Acer mini (11.6") and I love it. I also have Acer widescreen monitors that are just fine.
If you are looking for a full fledged laptop , you can never go wrong with HP/Compaq.

I have never had anything but good experiences with them.

 

I would strongly recommend models from HP/Compaq. Dell is way over hyped these days.

 

I think Dell laptops are really good plus they look awesome, if not a dell go for an apple.

 

I had an acer laptop and it was the worst thing I ever bought, it died, I also have 3 other fiends who's acers died within 2 years of purchssase.

 

HP is good. their Technical Support is better than the other brands.

 

i've been using dell for a while now so i would say DELL is the way to go.

Can't say that I have never heard that. I read a lot of reviews before I purchased my Netbook, and out of every 300, there is always 1-5 that say their Acer's sucked. but ,most reviews are glowing...people are genuinely happy with the product, and as I said, I have a few other things made by them that perform fabulously.
So far I love mine. I'm rally glad I purchased it.

 

I normally build custom machines to my needs but when I have to buy something that's not very customizable like a notebook, I go to IBM, now Lenovo.

 

I suggest you go for dell. Best brand

 

I'd prefer DELL as i also have one and loved it until the hinge crack about 4 months ago and the front cover needs to be replace so i brought it to DELL store and they replaced it, problem is now it started cracking again already.

 

Dell is the best in laptops . But Acer provides better facilities at lower price .

 

Dell are good value for price as a net surfing and general use pc but they are not designed to be high end gaming systems. So it all depends on your desired use for it.

Thats why some peeps prefer if they have know how, build their own custom pc and pick the best parts at the best price for their intended use. They can also upgrade it if their needs change. As opposed to some of cheapest laptops and pc box systems that are not really designed to upgrade much.

Lenevo, acer are also good brands too and there is not much between any of them really

Just make sure you have a good warranty if in case somthing goes wrong as all brands with have the odd faulty part with the mass number they produce.

 

Dell is the brand..You can trust it

 

No doubt DELL is the best!!!! HP service is not good. Acer laptops have problem that the LCD cover becomes weak in a 1 year or so.. So go for Dell without any hesitation!!

 

I'd go with ACER, altough i really do silike DELL

 

i like both hp & dell.

 

Dell is by far the most well-known computers out there. It's quality is probably the best as well.
