Well my vote goes to Acer i have 3 desktop computers and 2 laptops and all are ultra reliable and that is all i ask from a Brand.Sony are a nice looking machine but at a price but looks dont make a machine any better than a plain one !!!
HP is the best. I've been using their products since over a decade now. No wonder it's the world #1 PC manufacturer.
Having worked with both Dell and HP for several years I can tell you HP is the better bet. I think most people say Dell because they are the cheaper of the two, but they also use cheap parts. Can't tell you how many times some plastic part fell/broke off of a Dell. When I buy a PC, I'm going to spend the money and get something that was built with quality parts and will last. That being said, I wouldn't purchase ANYTHING from either company unless it was a part of the small/medium business class of computers. Both companies use cheaper parts in their home/home office line of PCs. Take a look at HP and their small business class computers. They are more expensive, but you won't have to upgrade unless some HUGE new technology comes out and makes the older technology completely obsolete.
I would never get an ACER laptop, the only thing that can be said for them is that they are cheap IMO
My vote goes to Mac, it's like have 2 laptop because I can still use Win XP, vista or win 7 with boot camp
Dell is crap. HP is better and Acer is also better then Dell. Go with a Falcon Northwest, or build it yourself. However, stay away from alienware since they are owned by Dell...
