Yep! I would second that. The reason being most good article publishing sites have caught up to this. Better to do it the old fashion way.

i would recommend http://goscript.net/featured-articles/wordpress-uniquefier-plugin.html not a rewriter but it makes articles pass copyscape and it works my search engine traffic has increased greatly due to this plugin
All the article spinners are Junk and their sentences do not make any sense. So, I would recommend you to write articles by yourself to prevent any Google Penalty .. In the meanwhile you can surely check out the Wordpress Uniquefier by Goscript , I already tested his one script which worked for me but surely I would be checking out this one as well.

The best one I've seen so far is WordFlood. It highlights words and lets you click and choose synonyms or replace sentence fragments. Even though it's all manual work, it's still better than those crappy spinners out there.
I use Instant Article Wizard 2.0 but mainly to get ideas on topics I know little about. You definitely have to re-write your articles because the sentences can be redundant and bland. However, it gets the creative juices flowing.

Rubbish. Here are a couple of blogs generated completely automatically where ALL the content is spun ('wrangled', actually).
