What is the best article directory script?

I am looking for some insight into article directory scripts.

Do you have any opinion on what may be the best script for article directories?

Also what are your thoughts on them in general?

Can anything be made off them if you don't use adsense? (I don't like adsense)

How much traffic might one of these bring if submissions are free vs. paid?

Seems to me there are positives and negatives. Perhaps the biggest negative may be the duplicate content you get.

ArticleMS is a good article directory script. imho

 

ArticleLive NX is very good, but it also comes with a hefty price

 

Article Dahsboard is probably the most commonly used AD script.

 

This is an amazing script for an article directory with lots of features, But also burns a big hole in your pocket.

 

Article dashboard, as already said.. is the most common and easily used script.
