We have a fairly new forum, and have begun the climb in Google and Bing.
We need a bunch of quality backlinks to help get our site moving.Right now,we are
number 4 in Google, and bottom of Bings first page.
But I have been told that until we get some backlinks, chances are that that will begin to disappear soon,
I am using OnyWire and Social Monkey. But they only go so far.
Would it be advisable to look for some links to buy, just to help us hold our ground?

So I guess the question is,should I try buying some links?
Are there places that are affordable but good?

hi monkeyofstick, why are you looking to buying the links? you can search for forums that are related to your niche or topic and contact their administrators for a link exchange, buying links is always not a good idea as sites get easily disappeared in search engine result pages if they have "bought back links". Moreover if you want back links coming your way naturally, you have to build some standard for your forum and make it a quality forum so that people like to talk about you forums in other forums and blogs.
