Hi everyone, I am a clickbank vendor. For the past few years I have been sending out emails to buyers manually after the sale, and sometimes up to 3 days after. I need to move into doing the autoresponder thing to increase my after purchase sales. When I get the email from clickbank, the body of the email has the email address my auto-email needs to go to. So, is there a script/program/software that can pull that email out and generate an email back. Currently, I cannot see every customer entering their info again to get to the download page. I also assume that Clickbank has rules around this too. Any help is much appreciated.
I would look at mailchimp, it is pretty powerful, maybe even more than you need. iContact is good too, but stay away from Constant Contact imo because they (maybe it has changed, someone correct me if I am wrong) don't allow instant message delivery, meaning you can't hit anyone that signs up with an email instantly, you have to wait 24 hours.
I have looked at Aweber, Mailchimp, and listwire, and I do not see anything listed in their features that says they can pull an email address out of the body of an email then send an email to that address. These all seem to need the subscriber to fill in a form first. I must be missing something. Ideas? As far as phplist, I looked at the demo and do not see where you can have the software read the emails that come in and crawl it for an email address. Luzern, can you suggest a feature on phplist that can do this? Thank you.
Unfortunately, Aweber.com will not do what the OP wants to do - namely, extract an email address and send a message without having to jump through all the hoops of Aweber's verification process.
I think you are making this way more complicated than it needs to be, when the customer purchases your product on clickbank you can do one of two things either redirect them to an interim page where you simply ask them to register their product for future updates and that once they confirm their email they will be directed to the download page. Of course the registration page will put the customer onto your list. Now I know that you had concerns about people not wanting to enter their details again but this is an accepted way of doing things for digital products and customers are used to it and in general don't mind doing so. The other option is to make your product delivered via a membership site which of course the customer has to enter some details in order to complete their registration. I am certain there are other solutions that take advantage of clickbanks advanced features where the user information is passed via query strings. You can get wordpress themes and plugins that will directly integrate with clickbank to do exactly this. I hope this helps in your streamlining efforts. Regards Ron
I'm not sure I understand exactly what you want, but if it's just to get an automated email reply to your clickbank customers after the sale has been made I think scrobbld.com may be what you're looking for. It is a site that sends instant emails to anyone who purchases your products via paypal without them having to jump through any hoops. However, it also seems to send thankyou emails to anyone who sends you money via paypal regardless whether they purchased something from you, or not. You can choose what the messages say, and I have used it successfully before to direct customers to a download page link after the sale. Hope this helps you!
The best autoresponders i seen in the market are Aweber, Getresponse, Icontact you can't go wrong with any of those. if i were you sign up with the autoresponder then create a simple page like a squeeze page with name and email. on the squeeze page you can tell the customer "Enter Your Name And Email Address To Get Access To The Product" when the customers enters there information the download info will be sent via email. doing this will automate your sales process
Ron, I greatly appreciate you taking the time to write. I regard your reply as the best answer. Thank you so much. Thank you to everyone who contributed. Dr David
You don't want cheap anyways. Cheap doesn't get you results. Cheap ends up not having your emails get sent.
I guess that you have already solved this query but there is another option for you. I used to hate having to log into different programs to get access to affilliate details, autoresponder, hosting, email marketing (bulk mailer with high deliverability), video creation software, virtual server/dedicated server and many other things. I found GVO and you can use everything on the regular hosting free and if need be get upgrades for less than $10.... alot of the top internet marketers use it... The script thing I believe you are talking about comes as a dropdown in forms for your autoresponder with loads of autofields to choose from. Everything is quickly and easily customizable. Why pay for everything separate when you can get a great bulk buy and save 100's a month?! You to take a peek for a month for $1 with a deal they are offering currently. I would add a link but I am new to the forum and only joined to let you know. If you want more info shoot me a message and I'll send you the discount link Hope you see the light Mike
I would have to agree with Aweber as the choice. Although once you grow your business enough, I would definitely take a look at OfficeAutopilot. It is super powerful and really is an amazing all in 1 tool. As soon I get enough courage to swallow the rather pricey monthly price, I'm going to jump in myself.
Aweber it gets the job done if not Get response is really simple to use and they have a trial period I believe of 14 or 15 days just in case you want to take a peek at it.
