work on extensive keyword research, good quality content and good interlinking (site structure) and then do some heavy directory and article submissions. This should put you in good stead. Don't rely on gtting quick traffic but this will enable you to hopefully achieve some solid targetted long-term traffic.

I used to do 30 blog posts per day when I first started Zedomax.com. Of course, blogging doesn't have to be 100% of original content, it can be simply your comment on someone else's blog post.

A blog is supposed to sorta help others save time by going to your blog instead of visiting let's say 1000 different DIY sites for example.

Well, I hope that helps, quantity is still king for blogs, look at the Top 5 blogs in the world such as engadget.com, they don't write much original content but people still LOVE them.

If you want organic traffic that clicks, you should be spending 80% of your time building one way links back to your website with keyword anchor text. It's as simple as that. Forget about content and social traffic. Well, that is if you want clickers.

seo is good, right now mu truck site's 60% traffic are from search engine. most of my marketing are done on myspace and facebook, and forums with sig. those makes good clicks.
