I have a web development company that I need to submit to directory's I know dmoz was one of the best but now that its closing or dying what we can we use next.
I might suggest JoeAnt. They still allow free submissions if you volunteer to edit, and they are fairly spam-free, unlike OneMission or Wikidweb. I must note that DMOZ should return under a new name, Curlie.org; it's just taking awhile to get it going.
Curlie is now up and running, accepting sites and looking for editors. Rules are the same as for DMOZ, the directory is the one built under the DMOZ name. Come see http://curlie.org/
A great alternative is DMOZ's successor, Curlie, which is community-driven and focuses on maintaining high-quality listings.
