    It would really depend on what type of site it is for as well as some other factors.

    If you are looking for an AdSense alternative the media.net is the Yahoo/Bing equivalent(sort of) although I haven't had much luck with them lately.

    Let us know how well media.net works out for you. It seems to be hit and miss as it works well for some but not others.

    Some good alternatives are adversal, propellerads, adcash.
    Media.net has mixed reviews (better you test yourself)
