What is the Best Adsense Unit today?

    Over the years I have sued a lot of different Ad types and a lot of different ad formats. I have to admit a large square built into my text floating top right does seem to be my highest converting unit

    But then again I have had several other good investments, the banner size ads seem to convert better than leaderboard ads and so on.

    One thing I have really had trouble optimising however is the side bar. Getting teh right side of the page, right distance from the top, right relation to the content and so forth really does seem to be a nightmare!

    So what are your favorite adsense units and their positions?

    I use the largest size available. I want a high CTR so I go with the largest.

    All those large square ones are good. I am using the 300x250 unit since my site's layout is fixed to 800 pixels and larger units do not look nice.
