What is the benefit of google cached page ?

can anybody explain me briefly what is benefit of google cached page, how much important is that ? plz tell me briefly if anybody knows about it.

If your site link is in Google cached page so your site will surely crawl by Google. This is the benefit of cached pages.

 

what i need to do for cached my website's home page, its cached since 2 months before, but now my site is updated. what i should do now ?

there is no really benefits from being cached. I would think the only benefit I can think of is if your site is down, people still can open cached version of your page.
The bad thing is if you want to get rid of some content, but it was already cached, you should wait some time till cache will expire and new page content will be cached instead.

This exactly what i think.. unless your hosting server won't go down. you don't have any benefits.
