    Hi everyone

i would like to ask any of you guys ( and gals )
    - who have hired someone to do manual link submission
( what was your expected output per hour)
-who have worked as a manual link submitter
( what was your hourly output)

I am looking into hiring someone to do it for me. I just need to have an idea on what should I expect from her.
    Your input is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

I hired someone to do and it took them 24 hours to get back to me with the report. I am not sure what were the exact numbers but it was around 200. Why would you hire someone to do it. I now do it myself. Check out the software in my signatures. It converts txt files into PDFs and puts link at the end with your anchor text. The software then submits it to 100s of doc sites where it then spreads like a virus. You get constant and natural long term stream of backlinks. I have used it for 2 weeks and some of my sites are ranking #1 even on very competitive gaming keywords.

Give it a try and stop wasting tons of money outsourcing it.

2 weeks does not mean you are ranking there for good. you might be in for a google dance.

Are these auto-submissions really advisable? I have read as well that manual is much better.
    Any ideas anyone?

Auto submission or manual are both (potentially) just as bad as each other if you are placing those links yourself (or someone else is). That means easy sources, without longevity and will be impacted by Google updates (devalued or even penalised).

Danny Sullivan summed it up well:

    http://searchengineland.com/link-building-means-earning-hard-links-not-easy-links-123767

And look what happened before Danny wrote this blog: along came hungry penguins and pandas, ate up all the spam. These updates have show how right Danny is and it will just happen again (as it has done many times since what - 2003?). Yet webmasters will cry, but the same or similar tactics will be used.

Rather than hiring someone to place links, why not hire someone to make content for you that's really cool and people will talk about, share, link back to, etc?

I suggest that you made a weekly target like 100 links, that would be 20 links a day for 4 hours.. How about that?

Make it look like natural links, don't want to flood with a bunch of links. Google know all, well most.

Submission software is the only way to go but don't link directly to your site, use the links to some Squidoo/Hubpages and link these to your main page.

By saying "Submission software" you don't mean automated ones, right? I mean, I have heard that automated DOES do a lot more than what you could do manually, but its not the "quick jump to #1" that helps, the "method" in which its done is important.

As you say Squidoo or Hubpages are a good means to do that, could you kindly explain how do I go about? Are there any more such websites where you can submit to promote your website?

    Thank you in advance.

If you do automated link building, you should post over time...not blast your site all in 1 day, which is what you're going to get on fiverr gigs and other $5 links.

It depends on how and where your outsourcer is building links. A high quality guest post will be about 1 per hour at best where with profile links you can probably get 20+ per hour. A better idea would be to pay the outsourcer based on how many links were placed on each platform (ex. $10/100 manual bookmarking links) instead of paying by the hour.

Thanks for the info. And yeah, link submission is just one of the things I will hire someone to do. I will also hire someone who will do articles for me.

She will write articles for me and also make a few versions of that article. I was wondering though if there are any softwares out there who will make the spinning of the articles easier. I mean one that actually spins good versions of the articles.

Autp submitter like sick submitter for example you're probably looking at around 300-500 per hour, scrapebox can blast about 5000 per hour on a good day and manually, If you didn't have a list I would expect about 30 an hour ?!
