What is the advantage to get backlinks from authority sites?

Getting backlinks from an authority sites is so tough than a general low pr website. Just wanted to know that it is really impotent to get backlinks from authority websites.

Kindly share your expert opinion about authority website or authority directory sites.

 

Authority websites are websites that are trusted by Google.
Good back-links to your website from High Authority websites are crucial if you want to get high search engine rankings and traffic.

A back-link, also known as an in-coming link, in-bound links, in-links, and in-ward links, are incoming links to a website. If your website doesn’t have the right backlinks then it will be difficult to get high rankings.
In general, high authority websites is looking for a website that established several years ago, a websites did not contain spam in the past, have many backlinks from other sites and already belong to the most important sites for a particular topic or niche

 

Try creating something viral (say, content that people all over the world would be crazy about, will want to read/use/download/watch/etc.) and you should be able to attract high PR sites to link to you.

Your website importance will be increased in Google resulting in increased in SERP placement and Page Rank. Even you will found visitors coming from those linked authority website as all those are meant to be highly popular among the folks.

 

Google recently stated at one of the SEO conferences that trusted links were basically the only links that counted to help your search position.

 

"Link from authority site better than link from not authority site" is just what Google say, and what we think (something Google say don't like what they really do). Maybe it's not true. The only true benefit while you have backlink from authority site is your link can be index more reguraly.

 

Remember getting links from new websites is also a way of telling Google & other search engines that your site is active.

well form my experience you can either get a few hard to get backlinks from high pr sites or you can go across the internet getting hundrads that might do the same thing, Personally i would continue building low pr back links but would start working on getting high pr ones

 

Of course its impact is much more than any general site due to its gain trust in search engine. But if you find your niche and getting backlink from them, the impact will remain same as an authority website.
