Yes, It took me a week to get onto google after submitting my site to them and every single social network on top of going using squidoo utils and pinging the site.

I love utils and that ping action! As soon as the site is out of Work in Progress (takes about 24 hours) it will be included in the Squidoo search results. Then you need to start adding it to groups. Once you get some ratings on it and a few people add it to their favorites, it will start climbing up the Squidoo rankings. Eventually Google will find it there.
Ok, so is it worthwhile to just create and let Google pick it up. Or must I use the squidoo tools and network to see real traffic?
