What is the advantage and disadvantage of "noarchive" meta tag..?

    What is the advantage and disadvantage of "noarchive" meta tag.. i.e

    <META content="noarchive" NAME="robots">

    As I know, this tag helps control google not to craw information that you don't like being crawled.
