What is Supplemental Result

I want to know about Supplemental Result when i put my own site in google search its showing some words as Supplemental Result at the end of the result please tell me more about this

In my opinion a supplemental result is a page in which Google believes there is already another page with the same or very close content in the index. Another school of thought says that is shows the authority of the domain in a way that the more authority the less supplemental pages with more actual pages in the index. So over time you should see the supplemental pages go down.

I have noticed with my own sites that the supplemental results are either duplicate content or duplicate meta tags.

In the first instance, when I used articles from article directories, it showed my page as supplemental. When I added a summary at the top of the article and the bottom, it moved out of supplemental because it was no longer considered duplicate content.

In the second instance, I had a site I launched with over 300 pages. I forgot, stupidly, to change the meta tags on all the pages. Every page was listed as supplemental because it thought all the pages were the same.

Once I went through and fixed all the meta tags so the title and descriptions would read properly, the pages moved out of the supplemental results.

 

Supplemental results means that site has either of the following:

- duplicate content
- no backlink
- no content

I think your site must gain more quality link submit your site to this directory http://www.directorycritic.com/free-directory-list.html and also if your sub pages is also supplemental try also to submit it with this directory http://www.directorycritic.com/deep-links-directory-list.html it accepted deep link. Supplimental pages are simply pages that Google deems of too low quality to include in their main index. This is usually related to too few deep links or poor internal link structure.

It has nothing do do with duplicate content, this is a common misconception.

 

Supplimental pages are simply pages are something like duplicate links.so better you just try it later on.

 

I want to index and get rank in search engine, my site is 5 months old still how many months i have to wait for that is there any fast way to get listed in rank help me please
