If CPA is such a bad choice for making money online then why would you promote it in your signature? Or am I misunderstanding you on some level?
I think fear is the big one. Most people don't even no where to start. Then once they hit a bump in the road or don't make $2,000 in the first month they quit. Anything worth doing is going to take time.
for me its fear. I need to see results,or at least small results. Plus i overplan,and then change my mind. I'm good at planning long term projects but getting the motivation to complete short term money makers is hard. strange isn't it. for example,i've come up with a 3 report,2ebook course outline with end goal being to build a list and use those products to sell. However,this coming week i'm going to put my all into completing my short term projects and start creating/building the long term ones.
Thanks for the replies. Time seems to be the limiting factor. I know a lot of newbies put in a little time and expect to strike it rich, but we all know it doesn't work that way in the real world.
In my case are the money. I have an idea, even the strategy is made, a little bit of time, money are missing.
Three things, I am facing or faced: 1. Too many false promises by affiliate marketers. 2. It is hard to generate a traffic for new site. 3. Learning the tricks of trade, nobody really reveals on forum to newbies.
Time and money are the only parameters holding me from expanding. I have a couple of good sites but have no time to put more of them out or to expand the already existing one.
Time and money - and loss of focus due to having too many fingers in too many pies. My resolution for 09 is to attempt to streamline and just focus on a few projects so they get the attention they deserve.
You will have even less time when you are older. And overall too, when you are young even if you try and fail it is a feat. When you just finished college, or got into a serious relationship or something, everyone expects you to "get a real job" as soon as possible, be responsible, be employable etc. To connect this with "too many choices" being a factor... Coming up with my next great idea, I buy a new domain name almost everyday. And when I was younger it was a new tripod page (or angelfire I hate everything that gives me a feeling of unfreedom (they say it is typical Sagittarius) but self-discipline ought not be holding oneself from other alternatives. If I had focused on my projects one at a time, I would have my web media enterprise all set up and established by now. It is going to take some more obviously, as I was about to do some work while I am posting to forums...
The reason i didnt start is because i feel that soooooo many people are doing it that i wont succeed, Regrds, B.
