What is Stopping You...

Many of my students come up with the same reasons for not taking action, for dragging their feet and NOT starting an internet marketing business.
So, I'm curious, what is your reason?
What is stopping you from launching your own internet marketing business?
    Is it time?
    Is it money?
Is it fear of some sort?
    Let me know.
    Peace.

I think it has go to do with the action plan and fear of failure.
Many of them are unsure how much effort and time they should put in into their online business after attending the course.
Some may have the notion of what if I don't make it?
The main thing is how badly we wanted it to be successful.
Attitude plays an important role in any business, and in life. :D

Usually it's a combination of Time, money and Fear...

People who have working jobs usually have very tight schedules & don't get much money to invest online, and since they are more concious about thier funds, they aren't willing to take such risks.

Yeah, I would say that most people have this issue. I've got a lot of things on the fire right now and probably a little bit too scattered brained. I've got some smaller businesses going, but have a few ideas that I work on on occassion. Really, I should probably just outsource the work but I"m afraid of the quality that I might get.

Because the time and money that you need to invest in building an online business (the honest way), is often not worth the return. Of course, you can always outsource your work, but if you don't have the money to do that then you are stuck. And even if you do have the money to outsource your work you still have to face the problem of having to weave your way through a bunch of criminals before you can find honest folk who won't try to stick it to you the moment that you look the other way.

But the biggest problem is that there are a lot of cheaters who steal their way to success. They are the ones who ruin it for everyone else. It's almost impossible to compete with them, especially if you don't have a lot of money. It's one thing to make a few dollars here and there; but when it comes to making enough money to pay a mortgage that is something entirely different. In short, it's not what it used to be!

Mostly time, I work ~45 hours a week right now, at a job I don't want to leave. I could also use more money, to outsource more things.

I think its a matter of dedication.

Most people want instant success. And if they do not get it, they lose interest and walk away. Or, they are not dedicated enough to start the project to start with.

I must agree with you there, kev... It's natural to be impatient and alot of people just can't control thier instincts.

    Is it time?
House Wife, from 8 am to 3 pm I'm pretty much home alone.
    Is it money?
Money isn't a problem, hubby has a job.
Is it fear of some sort?
Fear isn't a issue, I'm mean a person has to fail in order to grow in life.
My problem is there is too many choices!

I think a lot of people just don't know where to start. Others plan too much instead of just jumping in with both feet.

well i have started many things on the internet but most of the time i failed because of my lack of interest or because of the lack of money to invest. So my biggest problem that stops me to take action into developing my ideeas is money.

That's a good point... Maybe "Too many Choices!" should be added to the selections at the top of the thread.

Bingo, sometimes tough to get around. Time is a big factor with me. Working twelve hours a day at my day job wears on me.

I spend quite a lot of my time online (much to my girlfriends distain) and the odd time if i see something that has potential, but theres nothing worse than spending hours and hours online trying to grind out a living (after workng full time) without seeing results. Whati really want is someone to guide me, and if happily hand over 50% of a winning program/system/method to acheive it

No, mainly it's just procrastination, and the fact that I don't see results immediately, which kind of disappoints me. I spend so much time online, and if all that time was invested in 100% productivity, I'd have certainly hit it rich by now. But most of the time I'm on the internet, instead of actually working on my sites and on my money-making, I'm doing other things - typing on this post right now falls into that unproductive category, I guess. That's what holds me back.

It's not stopping me, but it's the reason why I'm not making $2k a day doing nothing. CPA is basically just forced continuity taking ridiculous amounts of money for something that doesn't work. Doesn't matter if you don't promote these "free" trials directly. Even with email submits, they need to sign up for a few of those offers before getting their "free $500 giftcard" or whatever.
