I have to agree to an extent. I finally hit the 3 figure/mo range but it was an awful lot of hard work that could have been done much more easily by making separate blogs or affiliate sites. However it is rather easy to get PR4-5 pages on Squidoo and they're good funnels for traffic to your other sites.
so glad that this thread was posted as i have just started to use squidoo and didnt quite understand the hype, i dont even know if i have done it right this is the lense i made MY LENS
There are now some Squidoo lensmasters making four figures. That's Squidoo earnings only, not including earnings from their own affiliate links such as CJ and ClickBank.
You create a lens about anything at all. Then you market it by getting people to visit it and rate it. The best strategy is to make it about something to do with your website. As you market the lens the lens will rank better on Squidoo. Then it will start to show up in search engines. If you link to your site the lens visitors will click through to your site. I have had more than 200 extra visitors from Squidoo to my one site in the past month.
One niche per lens or in fact many articles on that one niche can be published as many lenses. Check out www.squidoo.com/why and www.squidoo.com/what
Didn't know that. If he is, are there are old threads about how he marketed the site and got it so large?
