What is Spamtrap ?

    My servers ip is blacklisted at UCEPROTECT

    when i checked there i got this


    can any buddy explain me what is spamtrap ?

    Spamtrap is usually e-mail address that is created not for communication, but rather to lure spam. Did you use it for spam?

    Check your mail logs, there's usually an URL for resolution, though I know it'd be a cliche to say this but make sure whoever was sending spam wont be doing it again.

    Spamtrap are honeypots: one will let you harvest an email they dropped specially for spammers (For instance in a forum or in a contact page).
    As soon as this address will receive junk mail, they will know you are a spammer and therefore blacklist you.
