I am working in some forum sites . But the truth is I am new in SEO. As a result I am being banned after working several days because of spamming. I don't know even which actions are considered as spam. Please share me if you know.
Spam can be define as an abuse of submission into the submission sites. As a result of this method your site can be penalize.
When you sign up for a new forum, don't hurry to post your aff links, gain some authority, post something valuable to the forum members and don't ask for thanks, rep, etc... Be yourself and don't abuse forum rules
When you are posting in an irrelevant manner in any thread that has nothing related with the thread or you are posting any adult link/content or you are not following forum's rules at that it is called as spam and you are called spammer. If you get your position in spammer you will be banned temporarily or permanently.
Spamming means nothing but doing some irrelevant things like copying pasting the contents in multiple website/pages etc. Also, posting something to the people who are really not interested in that matters. And you can go through across FAQ section in any of the forum website to see the set of rules, guidelines provided by the forum admin/moderator/manager.
Unethical SEO by any mean, you get link which are not according to the search engines rules which they published is spam.

Any SEO effort which is against the search engines norms and guidelines called Spam, Spam is unethical way to optimize the sites in search engine, it's not work in long term, initially your site can get ranking but after some time it will lost existing rank..
To avoid forum spam post something valuable to the forum members, don't abuse forum rules, for rules you can go through FAQ section. If you post anything irrelevant to that thread or you are posting any adult link/content then also it can be called as spam.

Making irrelevant comments and using too many anchor text while making comments is simply named as spam. Some forms are very hard. You can't make any comments there if you are new. So leave those forums. If you have selected webmaster forums to perform SEO works then DP, Webicy, PromoJunkie and Webcosmoforum is very easy to make posts. But please don't spam on those forums cause if they caught you then they will ban you.
Spamming is anything that you are doing against the policy of Google to achieve ranking of your pages.
