    The term "spam" when referred to link development, is defined as randomly submitting off-topic links or text to a website.

    Or, by just submitting text that doesn't make any sense, ;)

    SPAM = Stupid Posts and Messages e.g unrelated forum topics, blatant advertising, and mass/bulk submissions/messages.
