Hello all, The recent sitemap upgrade has given me a small clue as to why I'm still in the sandbox almost a year now. I checked the new sitemap page and saw this: Indexing summary: Pages from your site are included in Google's index. [?] Index stats Googlebot last successfully accessed your home page on Apr 20 . Potential indexing problems: Some of your pages are partially indexed. --->8--- Ok, so now I'm thinking "Alright now I have something to fix". I went to Google and did a site:http://www.picturepuppy.com/ 4 pages show in the index. I then did a site:http://picturepuppy.com/ and 16 pages show indexed. My .htaccess has ALWAYS looked like this so I didn't get this problem: RewriteEngine On Options +FollowSymLinks RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^picturepuppy.com [NC] RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.picturepuppy.com/$1 [L,R=301] Using DP's wonderful keyword checker I see Yahoo has 101 "pages in URL". So, what could I have done wrong to cause this issue...or is it two issues? Who can I contact to correct this at Google? Thanks for your time J
It's usually a URL Googlebot knows exists (link to it), but hasn't spidered yet... http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=34480
Hi thanks for the reply, I saw that page, but it sure doesn't make any sense to me. It's not like my site is a growing site where pages need to be indexed as they are added..... I don't and haven't added anything in 7-8 months. Anyways, thanks J
