What is social hot media? Is this different from the social networking site or the same?

I know about the Social Medias i.e. Social Networking websites, YouTube, Flickr etc.

 

came across friend specifying Hot Social media, even he was not clear about this term. So i asked.

No No nothing of that sort of content. I was asking regarding online marketing techniques.

 

I think, since social networking has become a hot topic in the market, he might have used the word "hot" for social networking and social media industry.
