What is Social Bookmarking and how do I go about doing it?

    As I learn more and more about SEO I'm getting a bigger and better picture of what I need to be doing to promote my clients sites in the search engines. A few digital point posters have mentioned social book marking. What is social bookmarking and how do I go about doing it. If you can give me advice on this that would be great.

    Hi Googbook, an example would be the social bookmark delicious.com (formally deli.cio.us) where you can publicly bookmark your site. This in turn may bring others to your site, not by Google but through the social network.

    I've been doing some social bookmarking and they all seem to have a no-follow attribute when I've posted. Does anyone have a list of do-follow free social bookmarking sites?
