PR is just a no. nowdays, put your efforts in building good quality links and receive traffic rather than being worried about PR.

Site PR and Google PR is different, Google PR is what you see as Page rank, Actual site PR is unknown and not shown by google..
Page rank isnt the be all and end all of SEO, but it is a good guide for seein how Google views your website!
The long waiting comes to an end and my 3 month old domain get PR3. Though Google advice us not to think about this much but advertiser do care it and website owner too. PR shows sites authority and I am pleased with this December update though I am expecting it in January. However, I don’t want to stop here, I want to reach PR6 in 31st December 2010 and I think I have the ability to take my site that high. If you go against Google's policy then you can be banned for lifetime.
Use Google webmasters tool to find back links for your site. Forum posting, Blog commenting, Classifieds submission, Article submission and Social book marking these are the effective ways to create quality back links.
