What is short tail and long tail queries??

    I need to no about what is shart tail queries and long tail queries in google search and is it related to SEO.

    short queries means short key terms or keywords that use for searching.. its better to rank on those type kws but usually hard to achieve since there are more sites on those kinds of kws unlike with the long tail or long key phrase..

    These are the keywords shortened or longed. In that way, they can minimize the use of keyword in Link building.

    Short tail means specific keyword/keyphrase while long tail is elongated search usually like a sentence, phrase or question...

    Short tail keyword is something short, usually one or two words. Like "seo training". A long tail keyword is usually much longer, usually three to six words or more. It usually contains the base short tail keyword as well.

    short term are keywords as said by many to be in 1 or 2 words. Typical search engine users search for subjects usually does this search. Nowadays, SE users use google. yahoo or bing intellectually using 3 to 4 to many phrases query to sort their query result. Perhaps a person want to buy a candy online. Expect typical users to key in "assorted candies", now if a user has knowledge on how powerful search query can be they will key in "sweet assorted candies" or "sweet assorted candies for sale"..
