    In my opinion as many have mentioned before SEO is good content, quality links not quantity and patience. If you are going to build lots of spammy links you won't sustain algo updates and rankings will drop.

    HI ! Link Building is still effective. you can post Article, Blog, Directory etc. you have to careful for Anchor text. Latest Updation of Google is about Anchor Text.
