I heard about SEO hosting last week on Hostgator website... DO u know what is SEO hosting? Anyone experienced? How it is different from other hostings.. I am also looking hosting for content based websites. Content must be re-written. Is it illegal If I host website on hostgator or GOdaddy? Can I get any problem if use re-written content on HG or GD Server? IF HG and GD doesn't allow it. Then for which hosting should I go? In future I have to buy my dedicated server too for my websites. Recommend me hosting which helps me in SEO too(from hosting sense). Becoz my all sites are on content based. And I can't take any risk. I already have hosting accounts with 3-4 hosting companies. Pls, small hosting seller don't pm me. I am looking for big brand companies. (reason 1-2 host cheats me) Sam
Dear, We can really help you with this. SEO hosting is based on the fact that there must be different ip's for multiple websites. As well the ip's need to contain the right sites with the right niche. I would like to offer you our services. We can discuss further details on MSN or Yahoo messenger, as I have just added you to my contact list. We are not a small company, but we are neither a big brand. We are in business for over 2 years and own a pretty large number of servers. We are from Amsterdam.
Well that is just a part of the whole story. It is also influenced in other methods. Example: German site (.de domain) - German IP is best - different ip's for different niches - NO PROXIES or other things that can be censored. I once had a PR 6 directory, it had a .us domain, we started hosting it in Europe and it dropped back to PR 3. Location is also very important, but mostly for country based extentions.
I need hosting for US based websites....means to say targeted to US traffic.... So which one is best...
How SEO Hosting Works SEO Hosting allows for users to create hosting accounts for their websites and assign each account an IP address. What is unique to SEO Hosting is that the IP’s that are assigned to the server, are very diversified. Technically the definition of a C class IP is an IP with the first octet or numerical block from 192 to 223. So if an IP is 192.*.*.* all the way through 223.*.*.* it is considered a “Class C†IP. However for the purpose to keep things simple, we’ll go with the understanding that each numerical octet is a Class, and the “C†class, just refers to the third octet. Let’s take a closer look and examine an IP address. For example: 123.456.789.10 An IP is a string of numbers, separated by different octet blocks – A, B, C, and D respectively. The block from this IP address that most website owners are concerned with is the class C block. In the above example, the class C block is “789â€. Why is this important? Since getting traffic to a website is primarily the most valuable process of having a web site, and search engines are the source of most of this traffic, people generally like to find out the best ways to optimize their web sites to rank in the top listings of search engine results. Tweaking and optimizing a web site to rank well in the search engines is known as Search Engine Optimization or SEO. A common belief among SEO gurus is that search engines will penalize web sites when there are too many sites with similar content on the same IP address. Nobody knows the exact search engine algorithm that is used to determine a web sites rank in listings, but people have reported success when they place each website on its own IP, and even more importantly each IP will be on a different class C block. For example: IP address 123.456.789.10 would have the website petfood.com and IP address 123.456.790.10 would have the website catfood.com on it. As we can see, the domain names and websites would have a similar topic and therefore each domain is using a different class C block of IP. Another claimed benefit is interlinking between web sites. Web sites ranking also depends on how many other web sites are linking to them. To prevent spam and bad search engine result listings, the search engines give less weight to websites on the same class C IP linking to each other. Legitimate site owners will benefit from SEO Hosting because they can link each site to each other and if it’s on a different class C IP they will be able to still receive credit from interlinking between the sites.
very clean and clear info.... according to you we can define 123.456.789.10 123 = a 456 = b 798 = c 10 = d Really cleared the concept of SEO hosting. So, Should i have to go for hostgator? What is the difference between shared and reseller hosting by SEO wise. In shared we have to addon domain and in reseller we create new accout for every domain. Which should we prefer?
