    if you launched your site then it is not enough thing.if you searching in any search engine for your proper keyword and your website is not listed then your site is useless.so seo is used to get listing in search engine.you can also generate more traffic for your website by doing seo.

    Bear in mind that nowadays SEO is mostly about being linked by other respectful websites on your niche. Not link exchanges but one way links are always better. Therefore, providing real value so that others link back to you is the real way to be noticed by google(which should be your main concern).
