This is the one of the funniest thing I have ever heard. I think you were joking. In SEO 2 way means link exchange. If your definition is correct there will hardly be any one way back-linking sites. And Google will surely consider it spammy. Will say this website was created by the same owner only to point a link to this own site. Your definition about 3 way links is also not very accurate. A can point to B and B can point to C. that's good enough and better. Now if C points to A again a loop will be created and Google can find a syndication here~ though this can also probably be called 3 way links.
