What is segmentation in SEO?

I saw something new , actually I read some where the new concept of SEGMENTATION is anybody tell me what is this? How it is important it is in SEO point of view.

I'm hearing about such a term for the first time.

 

SEO Page Segmentation is splitting a web page into many blocks to arrange deeper search engine analysis. Page Segmentation is used by search engines to determine the relevance of each block individually and assign levels of importance accordingly.

 

I didn't hear about page segmentation, thanks for sharing info. I will try to do this technique.
