What is sandbox?

The Google Sandbox Effect is a theory used to explain why newly-registered domains or domains with frequent ownership changes rank poorly in Google Search Engine Results Pages (SERPS). In other words new websites are put into a “sandbox” or a holding area and have their search ratings on hold until they can prove worthy of ranking.

Sandbox is for new domain, I have a new domain and google put it in sandbox, if I seach in google, the domian do not appear, after 3 month will be ok. today my domain pr 2

To Index your website at Google you have to submit it to Google but where Google place it - In Sand box - a place or one can say storage space for UN-indexed sites at Google SERP.
So after some time Google reviewed your website and if relevant it will be shown in the SERP..

 

Yes,It is right. I think Google will need time (at least 3 month ) to index your new sites, as my experience before . It is strange for me that my web is in Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesia Language ) .
My question is : How does Google know my web i that is correct in landing page???
So I am glad that my web is pr 2 and always number 3 or 4 in one of keyword, so I can sell anything.

 

Sandbox is or you can say type of algorithms used to filter the duplicate sites, it was introduced in year 2000. It is basically designed for newly created websites are first put in sandbox for some time may be a month or two, until google treat them as a normal site and release them.

 

It s right , but, There are secret of sanbox,it is just google know about it . we are user , can guest only, follow the rule of google.

 

I have 17blogs, use the duplicate site ( I am Indonesian I can write English well) so alternatively use PLR contents and post in 17my blogs. Luckily Google still index my 17blogs which have pr 2 untl 5

 

Yawn.....sandboxing does not exist. It never has and it never will. It takes longer to rank for competitive keywords then it does for non-competitve ones. It's that simple.

 

Nice posts. I come to know now the Google sandbox is just a filter that resist the new websites or poor SEO website on the top position in SERP's of Google. This means it is just a theory or algorithm of Google.

But I donot know if we are not getting our website in Top 10 google results after doing ethical SEO work for 6 to 12 months. Then what we have to do.

 

Yes I am agree with you. This is the exact facts of Google. It is truth we have to do very hard work if we want to beat our competitor. I am also not getting the results for my website http://www.skip-hire-manchester.com/ with some keywords such as waste plastic recycling. I have not create any links from spam or untrusted directories. And still I am confused from Google results.

 

Hey! Too much stuffing can also lead to sandboxed. And also u supposed not to use the same keywords more than 2 or max 3 times.

 

Sandbox is used by Google. When you are uploading new site on server then Google save it into his sandbox database.
To remove site from sandbox you have to increase traffic on your site.
