Haha, if you copy content, make sure someone did you provide the link on the first reply post Or name the source

RSS (Rich Site Summary) is a format for delivering regularly changing web content. Many news-related sites, weblogs and other online publishers syndicate their content as an RSS Feed to whoever wants it.
If you have a WordPress blog or a Blogger blog, your site will come with a built in rss feed. If you have a regular html site, it's easy to create a simple rss feed page for your site (it's just a simple text page formatted in a particular way.) After you have your own feed for your site - that's when the cool stuff can happen! You can submit the rss feed page address to free rss directories for loads of backlinks; you can "ping" a site like Pingomatic or Autopinger each time you add something new to your site to bring you fast indexing for new pages; and all you need to do is to add a brief blurb about your latest article or post to your feed page. You can increase domination of Google with your keywords, too, because if your site has a feed page the search engines will come around more to index your pages. You can also import somebody else's rss feed into your site (like Yahoo news, etc.) to make it look like you're constantly adding fresh content to your site. But this is starting to have limited use in Google because the search engines don't see that as unique content. A far better way to use rss is to make sure your site has its own feed and then to "pimp" that feed lots of places to get your site increased traffic and better organic listings for your keywords. Rss is cool! Jennifer
you can refer to my Squidoo lens i created on RSS feed which describes RSS feed and how it works http://www.squidoo.com/rss_submission_service
RSS (Rich Site Summary) is a format for delivering regularly changing web content. Many news-related sites, weblogs and other online publishers syndicate their content as an RSS Feed to whoever wants it. RSS solves a problem for people who regularly use the web. It allows you to easily stay informed by retrieving the latest content from the sites you are interested in. You save time by not needing to visit each site individually. You ensure your privacy, by not needing to join each site's email newsletter.
