    Iam a newbie i want to know what is rss and for what purpose rss is been used and does rss have any significance in search engine optimization

    Really Simple Syndication, a standard format to share content of your website. The content shared through RSS is raw XML. So you can stylize and format the contents according to your need.

    As far I understand, RSS is It is an alternative means of accessing the vast amount of information that now exists on the world wide web. Instead of the user browsing websites for information of interest, the information is sent directly to the user.
