hello i had recently hired a server as a reseller and it cost me around 80$ per annum. what is the reseller hosting? i really don;t know i purchased reseller hosting because everything on this package is unlimited.
Didn't you ask the service provider before paying it for the service!! That's quite ridiculous. Reseller Hosting: Arrangement whereby a company selling hosting to consumers uses the data center and equipment of another company. You will rarely see a hosting company come right out and admit they are a reseller. This is especially true of resellers who are primarily in the business of web hosting. They often try to hide the fact that they are resellers to look big and official.
If YOU are the reseller, then you can basically 'pretend' to be a real host. When all you're doing is being a middle man.
Going by the description - you haven't bought a reseller account - but a unlimited web hosting account. What you basically get for $80 is capacity to host about 1024 sites with around 25 MySQL database and plenty of space and bandwidth. I wouldn't call this a reseller account though. Could you point a link to the provider where we can get more details? Thx
