The definition of Remarketing is very simple: “Remarketing is a feature that lets you reach people who have previously visited your site.” But my question is about the sources from where the traffic comes from. I mean does remarketing work for all the traffic sources i.e. direct, facebook, email, etc. If I run remarketing campaign for adwords, does it include all visitors come from any of the source or it is only for the visitors come from Google Network?
Hello, Yes, Remarketing works for all the traffic of your websites from all the different sources. Once user visits your sites Google places cookie in his browser so after that your remarketing banner will follow that person.
Hi, this answer is based on my 2 year experience as a Google Adwords specialist. Remarketing is simply a cookie that is dropped on a visitor's machine when they landed on your site, no matter where they come from. You can have a unique remarketing code for each kind of traffic/URL. Then, you can run different ad campaigns for these visitors buckets. Remarketing not only applies for banner but also search as well. The aim of remarketing is that you already knew what the customers want and the later ads will only focus on that specific need of him. So make sure your ad is customized to the need of that bucket as much as possible.
Remarketing uses for for all webpages sites traffic, regardless of its source. Its a new concept of marketing.
Simply put -> Remarketing works for ALL YOUR TRAFFIC, regardless the source. Moreover you can use remarketing based on categories of your site to show to your users custom banners/messages
Action taken on by companies to reintroduce a product or service to the market in response to declining sales. The company remarkets the product as something that has been improved to reignite interest and hopefully improve sales.
That doesn't help anyone but you increasing your post count! That is not what remarketing/retargeting is. They are not reintroducing a product - they are keeping it top-of-mind with users.
You can use one form of remarketing with Facebook conversion pixel. IDK for other social sites. Regards.
Hello, Remarketing works for all the visitors for your website. Once you place the remarketing code in your website, after that whoever visits your website from all the different sources like Social Media, Direct, Organic or AdWords, etc. Google will place cookie in his browser so after that your remarketing banner will follow that person.
My understanding is that you can use retargeting on any website, regardless of whether the source was search, social or direct? I assume that is what you mean by 'social media' website
