is there any relation between hosting and revnue or traffic ? by other words is cheap hosting causing less traffic ? if yes so how to know if my hosting are good or not for traffic?
Sure, that just depends on how much your site is down. The less you pay, normally the less they care, the less they will try to keep your box up. I've paid minimal costs and I got minimal service, so my site was actually down quite often. I started paying more and they started caring more and now my site is never down. Normally no, there won't be a difference, only in that how much your site is actually up in order to receive the traffic.
i am using site5 and they are very good company i can say i am always up so if this is only the relation so i will never lose anything with this host company.
lol the reason for this topic is that is saw in DP some topics ppl talking about(cheap host=less traffic) and i dont know how!also i dont know if site5 the one host my site is good or not .
I use site5 as well (reseller package), one of the better companies I've been hosted by. I totally disagree with the statement free/cheap hosting = less traffic. The studio I work for has their site hosted by Verio, one of the premier web hosting companies nationwide, and they receive about 1/10 the traffic one of my site5 sites receives. Maybe you guys mean cheap/free hosting = less UPTIME. Although there would be exceptions to that as well...
