i know backlink, dofollowlink, nofollowlink but what is reciprocal link can anyone explain me does it has any effect on page rank
A reciprocal link is a mutual link between two objects, commonly between two websites to ensure mutual traffic. Example: Alice and Bob have websites. If Bob's website links to Alice's website, and Alice's website links to Bob's website, the websites are reciprocally linked.
This term use in exchanging link, when u exchange link with someone site then he also need to give u back link, which known as reciprocal link.
That is roughly correct. HOWEVER, most search engines nowadays are smart enough to crunch the data to detect 3 way, 4 way, and even 5 way links. Ie a links to b, b links to c and c links to a. They use a probabilistic analysis to determine the 'intent' of the link. Other factors help them too. So if you have a great big link page, for example, you're more likely to suffer for it than if your links are spread naturally thru your site. Same goes for anchor text. Basically, search engines dont like link exchanges, because they make the job harder.
If PR4 site links to PR0 site, and visa versa, PR0 site gains PR and PR4 site may lose some PR, depending upon how related and how trusted the PR0 site. PR transfer for reciprocal links is significantly damped.
Exchange link between two webmaster is called link exchange, suppose you have site A and another webmaster have site B, if you put a link for site B and B put you link on site A is called Reciprocal link building!!!
basically reciprocal links are - I'll give you a link from my site, if you will give me a link from your site.
A reciprocal link is nothing but you get an inbound link when you give out a link from your site.basically when you do this you give information resources to your visitors....
reciprocal link simply mean that someone links to you and you link back to them. It carries less weight than a one way inbound link.
