Maybe you're lucky and it's just a Google dance. Keep building quality links and content and see what happens over the next few weeks.
Must be Panda 3.9, since it was rolled out on July 25th.. Just try to improve the quality of your site. And don't believe those who tell you that they know how Panda works, nobody does except Google.
It should be the penguin and the new panda update..The unnatural links pointing to your website would be the cause of this drop..you need to check the links pointing to your site and remove them immediately...check GWT For more..

Try to pick current and evergreen keyword for both on page and off page seo. Also try to post in forum which will give anchor text signature which help your website to gain rank and top listing in google
Its Google Panda Update 3.9 Effect "The Panda algorithm, which is one of many algorithms that Google uses to rank Web content in its search results".
1.Change in the Search Engine Ranking Algorithm 2.Loss of PageRank/Link Popularity: Cinderella Story or "Honeymoon" Effect
It depends on the situation. What is the keyword's standing before dropping out of SERPs? If it is in the top 10 and the next day it is no longer in the top 100, then check if your site is in Google's index and this might be the best time to check your site's backlinks. Your site might been hit by Google's Panda and Penguin update. But if your keyword is around the 50th-100th page, don't worry too much because there are a lot of sites that are working on the same niche/keyword so your site must be pushed away. Just make it a habit to check your Google Webmasters account to check any warnings and crawling errors.
