What is really going on here?

So I've had this problem for a while now, but I need your input. There's a product that I'm promoting on the good old CB and I send hundreds of hops to it every week. When I check analytics, I notice that order form submission counts are usually about 4 - 6 every week. Not my best work, I know, BUT it always amounts to 1 - NO sales.

I've always heard about CB shaving sales, but have never had this problem. If someone completes an order form process, shouldn't I be getting credit for that sale?? this week, only 1 out of 4 potential sales have been credited to me.

Am I right in assumptions? and if so, is there anything I can do about it??

Hey capitalalchemy. This can be very frustrating at times. There are a few reasons that this could be happening.

    1) Somebody tried to use a bunch of cards in the bottom of their wallet that they new wouldn't work, but tried them all anyway hoping they could get the product before the order is confirmed. (luckily that's not how clickbank works)

    Or the most likely solution

2)Somebody's card didn't work, but they were positive that their card was still good, so they tried multiple times. This would cause many submits to show up.

    or

3)If somebody goes to buy and mis-types their credit card number, they will have to do it again. This would count as 2 submissions.

These are just my theories of why this happens.

CB should really have a transactions menu for order submits just to stop all the confusion. It would be nice to see that I had 10 order form submits but only 1 sale because the person who bought the product was putting in all sorts of wrong information (maybe because he is stupid) before he ended up successfully checking out.
