I choose "India" in Geographic target Now I am getting good rank "1" from pages from india and google.co.in "5" But No good SERP in google.com, at page 3 I want to change its geographic target but failed. even tried with new ID but It didnt work. How can I change it again? Thanks in advance.
If you want to target more than one country, you should not set your geographical location in google webmaster tools. This will just confuse Google and may limit your rankings in other countries. Targeting a country is more than just setting the option in GWT. Your geographical rankings mostly come down to how Google perceives your relevancy to both that keyword and that region. So if you want better rankings in google.com, you'll need a lot more links from websites that are hosted in the US, have good google.com rankings or that have content related to the US. You likely have most of your links on India hosted domains. Your domain tld also helps you get rankings in that specific country. So your .co.in tld leads Google to believe that you are primarily targeting India.
