what is PR2, PR5, Etc.?!!??!

    Alright I have noticed a fair ammount on threads etc about PR2 sites and stuff, but I am new to web design and stuff. What is the meaning of PR? and whats with the numbers? Is it how many views you have or something?

    yeah - that's right PR - Page Rank. You can see the PR of any site if you have installed the Google tool bar in your browser..

    Isn't where you are in the google listings completely different to PR?
    PR is just how important google rates your site, 0 being lowest, 10 being highest.

    it depends, and this is widely speculated...the truth is that PR only matters to google and to people who are trying to sell a website...other than that, I think most people really don't care about it. JMO though.

    As mentioned in my previous post the numbers are how important Google sees your site.
    O being the lowest
    10 being the highest.
